5 Ways to Celebrate your Team on Employee Appreciation Day
It’s Employee Appreciation Day! While I think you should celebrate your employees every day, there’s tons of reasons to make an extra excuse to do something nice for them. I’ve compiled 5 simple ways to show your employees you really appreciate them.
Staff Party
Give your team a break and give them a chance to hang out together with food & fun. Make it even more fun and close up shop to go bowling! Make sure you make the party unique to your team.
2. Movie Night
Since the world’s been shut down for a few years, bring the theater to work and screen a new movie with buttered popcorn and your favorite theater candy! Don’t have space at your workplace? Find an outdoor space or rent out a theater.
3. Swap Goods with Other Businesses
Partnering with another business can help you affordably provide your team with goods from local places your staff loves. You could even collect several items and raffle them off throughout the week, or honor the employee of the month.
4. Host a Family Day
Employee appreciation shouldn’t stop with just the employee! They have families that support them every day so they can shine at work, and you should say THANK YOU! Something as simple as a family day at the park, or discounted tickets to a local attraction could go very far.
5. Paid Time Off
The best way to show appreciation? Cold. Hard. Cash. This allows your employees to use the time or money the way THEY want. While this option may seem impersonal, your employees will enjoy having the freedom to use their benefits their way.
